SEG CONFERENCE, Houston, USA, 24-29 September 2017

This year, SEISCOPE presents at SEG Houston

Since 2006, the SEISCOPE consortium has been in the forefront of the research on Full Waveform Inversion (FWI) for high-resolution seismic imaging at exploration and crustal scales. We have developed new tools for seismic modeling and FWI both in the time and frequency domains, under finite difference and finite element approaches. We have performed many successful 2D and 3D real-data applications for multiple parameters FWI, under the acoustic, elastic and viscoelastic approximation.

SEISCOPE consortium launched in 2006 by Jean VIRIEUX and Stephane Operto.
The consortium is currently led by Romain Brossier and Ludovic Métivier (https://seiscope2.osug.fr/).
